October 20th-24th

I hope everyone had a good and restful Eid week. As in life, many times, the fun now comes to an end and we have to go back to work. Reminder that if you want to take the retake of Ch-1 Voc Test it will be given on Sunday (10-20-13) or Monday (10-21-13). This retake is optional. If you want to choose the first grade then you can. This week we will be testing on Ch-1 on Tuesday (10-22-13) and Wednesday (10-23-13) I will assign the Ch-2 Voc terms pp. 34,38,and 42 following the ch-1 Test. These (all 14 terms) will be due the next class meeting following the date they were assigned. Because of the slow start that we, as a class, had at the beginning of the year I am giving a copy of the Ch-2 notes to speed things up. Know that the Ch-2 Test will be given next week and will appear in the first nine weeks average. Another reminder that the Science Fair Project will be due the first week of November. I will be checking to see the progress of the work bein done by the students this week.

7th Grade Science Weekly Assignments for Sept. 22-26

This week we are putting our Chapter covering Cells on hold. Do not loose any notes or the voc terms for chapter one we will need them next week. This week we are learning about the different forms of energy with Ms. Natalie Moore. Ms. Moore will take us through all the different forms of energy and show many examples of these types of energy. Because we do not have a textbook with subject matter a handout will be given which includes all the material for the entire week. This also serves as your notes for the test which will be given next week. Don't forget to bring the cups that you were assigned to bring last week. And a few also agreed to bring an electric tea pot for heating up water. The test will be given to (7-1 and 7-2) Tuesday Oct. 1, 2013 The test will be given to (7-2, 7-5 and 7-4) Wednesday Oct. 2, 2013
